Welcome to Art!
Miss Morgan
Welcome to Art Class! I am looking forward to a great year with all of my students! I have many fun and exciting projects planned this year! My aim is to instill confidence in each student so that they feel free to create and express their ideas.
It is the belief of the Visual Arts department that creative growth is vital to student development. Through art experiences, students will increase higher level thinking skills and have an ideal opportunity for self-expression through the use of varied media.

Goals for Art Class:
- To become aware that art surrounds us everywhere!
- To learn & apply the Elements of Art and Principles of Design.
- To become familiar with master artists & their artwork.
- To be able to work independently to create your own works of art.
- To be able to work cooperatively with your classmates.
Grading:
- Grading will be based upon participation in class, effort, behavior, and projects.
All students can and will excel provided they:
- Demonstrate interest in the subject and are attentive during demonstrations.
- Demonstrate proper procedures, including clean-up and following directions.
- Help create a cooperative and positive classroom, where everyone gives and receives respect and kindness.
- Complete all assigned art projects and sketches.
- Do the best they can everyday!
