Concussion Testing

In accordance with the NJSIAA, student-athletes must be administered concussion testing prior to competing in high school sanctioned sports (including practices, scrimmages and official contests).

Garfield High School's Athletics Department works very closely with our coaches to ensure that all student-athletes have the necessary paperwork and testing completed prior to taking the field.

As we prepare for our upcoming sports season, our coaches will notify student-athletes that they must complete a concussion test prior to being deemed eligible to participate in the sport. 

In order to complete the concussion testing, we encourage student-athletes to set-up in a quiet area where they can focus during the allotted testing period.

Important notes: 
-Please use all capital letters! 
-The "0" is the number zero, not the letter O

3) Follow the steps that are provided through the website.

Please ensure that student-athletes are accurately filling out the information that is being asked prior to the start of testing. 

WHEN THE TEST IS COMPLETED:
Please ensure that a confirmation email is sent to your correct email address. 
Take a screenshot photo of  your confirmation number in case you have any issues with the testing process!
