Text Box: We are Jersey people. We reside in this wonderful state but are less than a half hour from New York City, the city that never sleeps, the city of lights and, of course, the city that decides it’s time for Holiday spirit before Thanksgiving has even happened. Perhaps you’ve heard it before but every person should hop on a bus, pay $6.20 for bus fare, and spend at least one day in NYC around the Holidays. There may be people all over the place but it is certainly worth it; the possibilities are truly endless. Rockefeller Center, with the tree being up and decorated to perfection, is always full of commotion and something as simple as watching people try to ice skate can prove to be truly entertaining for quite a while. Another favorite, which may set you back a few dollars, is the Radio City Christmas Show. The show is wonderful and it’s as if the show sends you subliminal messages that state, “It’s time for the Holidays Aren’t the Holidays Text Box: wonderful? Watch us do high kicks!” It can be a tad pricey, like everything in NYC, but anyone can have a great time even with those Rockettes kicking everywhere. That’s the thing about New York City- you’ll never know what fun you can have until you actually get up and go.
