Election

The meeting began with the announcement that we will hold an open election for two open seats, Mr. Alfonso and Mrs. Taylor

Election will take place on Wednesday conducted by Miss Botten and Mrs. Kutsup

Scheduling

Master schedule has been completed and students are now being scheduled

We still cannot release teaching assignments due to pending Union approval.  Union has sent copy of Master Schedule to their Executive Board for review.

SPED certs have been verified by Dept Chair and scheduling of SPED is being done via cohorts.  Four self-contained classes are being proposed.  IEP’s are being reviewed.

Union is reviewing contractual language of Master Schedule and is waiting for a final Master before authorizing

Questions have been raised about Common Planning Time in contract, also under review by Union

Administration does not want to change language in contract against Union wishes and is hopeful that Schedule will be approved.

Summer School

Once exams are done, letters generally go home with students

An additional letter by Administration may have to go home indicating that students cannot double up on credits in the future

Summer School information will be posted on web-site

Reverse 911 may need to be done to announce session
