Dear Parents/Guardians: September and October have both sped past leaving a flurry of activities in their wake! It has been a great pleasure getting to know your children and see them react to the different parts of the school day. One of the best parts of this position is the observation piece.
As November Parent Teacher conferences approach, remember that this is the time to work collaboratively with your child’s teacher to plan for an academically and socially successful year.
November 4th will be our RESPECT Kick-off Program. Garfield is working towards creating “No Tears” Schools- certain words and actions will become FORBIDDEN in school. The children will learn of these on the November 4th Presentation.
The very same information will be provided to parents at a special Home and School Meeting on NOVEMBER 17th at 2:15pm. We are trying a new time to get more of a turn out!!! Please stay in touch and support our academic and social movements here at James Madison!!
