1. Mrs. Bulger, School 10's Principal reads ONE by Kathryn Otoshi

Students learn they are responsible for themselves, ONE.

 

2. Preparation/Kick-Off Assembly

Enrichment Program: Ms. Parzecki, School Counselor & Ms. Ribaudo, Computer Teacher/Anti-Bully Specialist

5th Grade Students reworded the Bruno Mars song, Just the Way You Are to fit into our School Climate.

3. Development/Implementation of Commendable Behavior Club: RESPECT  

Students work hard on character traits. Each student receives a letter of RESPECT and once they receive all 7 letters they become a part of the RESPECT CLUB-earning a bracelet.  The school will begin to have mini club meetings which will include different activities.

 

 

 

4. A True Friend Wanted Ads: Ms. Parzecki, School Counselor

4th Grade Students developed their own Want AD for a Friend. What qualities are you

looking for?                                                                             

 

5. Friendship Chain: Ms. Parzecki, School Counselor

Other grades worked on a friendship chain that is displayed around the outside of the bulletin board that has the Wanted Ads.

 

6. Thankful T-Shirts: Students had the opportunity to be creative and make a shirt telling everyone

what they are thankful for & a special thankful quote.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

7. Honor Roll Assembly: Mrs. Bulger

Students that have earned letters of RESPECT to earn their membership of the club were recognized at the assembly.

Mrs. Bulger had a standing ovation to recognize the students, a technique learned at an Olweus Training.

 

8. Don't Stand for Bullying Poster Contest: Bergen County- In-School Contest, winners are sent to Bergen County

Students are currently working on posters at home, due to Ms. Ribaudo Feb. 17th & final winner from each grade level sent in to County by March 1st
