            Washington Irving School #4  fosters an environment for academic achievers, caring of ourselves and respectful to others.  The faculty , administration and support staff of our school strives to provide our students with a comprehensive, high quality education that includes social and emotional development. Our classrooms will give students an opportunity to develop critical thinking skills and problem solving and decision making capabilities. 

Our facility is equipped with Smart Board technology that ensures an interactive classroom environments. Teachers and students have access to Study Island, Discovery Education, and Gizmos. The support and involvement of parents is most welcomed in the educational process. Family Literacy,  Family Math, Technology Night and our annual Project Fair  are several school wide events that take place throughout the school year.

The highly qualified staff at Washington Irving  School is committed to differentiating the instruction of our diverse learners by addressing their unique abilities and cultural influences. Our focus on differentiating instruction assures that "No Child is Left Behind", and that all students are given the best opportunity to become successful.
