SCHOOL MISSION STATEMENT The mission of the Garfield Public Elementary Schools is to prepare our young people to assume their responsibilities as productive citizens in a democratic society, to contribute to their community, to give them the skills needed to be successful in the workplace, to apply their learning to a diverse and changing world, and to help them gain the knowledge and wisdom needed to fulfill their individual potential and lead satisfying lives. |
