Welcome to Roosevelt School #7! My name is Mrs. Yuppa and I am the school facilitator. I collaborate with the principal, Mrs. Pennisi, teachers and teacher specialists to monitor and improve student achievement through challenging learning experiences every day. Our dedicated teachers work hard each day to ensure that these learning experiences are implemented through project based learning, differentiated instruction, Writer’s Workshop, guided reading, and other daily interdisciplinary lessons. In addition I work with staff and district personnel to implement NJ state mandated curriculum expectations, provide input for professional development experiences for our staff, and coordinate and manage weekly grade level meetings with all teachers at Roosevelt School #7. Our first project which focused on nutrition and healthy choices is on display for Parent Conferences this November. This year we will also continue with our school wide Project Fair in February. We look forward to seeing parents, friends, and community members who will be invited to visit our school and see the wonderful learning that has taken place. Joyce Yuppa
