Welcome to School #7 and the 2007-2008 school year. This is the seventh year of our partnership with Co-nect and their whole school reform model. Through the dedication of our teachers, and professional development from Co-nect, project based learning takes place each day in our classrooms. As a result, our test scores show that student achievement has risen steadily each year.

     We  continue to implement our Language Arts and Math Curriculum alignments in all our elementary schools. The math trimester tests and language arts performance tasks help us to determine student needs and direct effective teaching practices.

    This year, with the assistance of Co-nect, we will continue to work on our Social Studies and Science District Curriculum Alignments. Co-nect will also spearhead the district professional development in Differentiated Instruction to improve student learning.

    It will be a very exciting year at Roosevelt School #7! I invite you to attend our wonderful school functions and experience the joy of learning!
