PHYSICAL EDUCATION

What is Physical Education?

Physical Education is the part of the educational process which attempts to educate the entire child through physical activities and teachings about the body.  Physical Education attempts to educate the child how their body functions and moves.

Everyone should be totally fit mentally, emotionally, and socially, and this is Physical Education's aim.

Our Mission

The Physical Education Department at Roosevelt Elementary School strives to build knowledgeable and healthy students who will stay active for a lifetime. We use a variety of activities to keep students interested and motivated in exercise to ensure our students are getting the maximum benefits of physical education. Students will learn cooperation, sportsmanship, and team work skills as well.
