About the Speech Program

 As the Speech Language Specialist with a Master of Arts degree from the College of New Jersey, I provide speech therapy services to the general education and classified elementary school students at school # 7. In addition, I hold the following NJ standard teaching certifications: Preschool Teacher, Elementary Teacher K-8, and Teacher of the Handicap/Special Education Teacher K-12.

Students who receive speech services may have articulation/ sound production error , language processing difficulties, and non-fluent speaking patterns. Language problems may occur in the areas of semantics/vocabulary, syntax/ parts of speech, or pragmatics/ reasoning and thinking with language within various situations.
