Homework Policy

Please remember to check your child's planner daily.
 All homework must be done on a daily basis. 
Failure to do so will result in an "O".

Spelling Homework remains the same schedule weekly with the exception of a review unit.  The schedule is: 

Mondays - all words 5x each

Tuesdays - Definitions

Wednesdays - Sentences

Thursdays - 5x each and study for test

Review Units 6, 12, 18, 24, 30 and 36 

Mondays - 5x each

Tuesdays - Telling Sentences

Wednesdays - Asking Sentences

Thursdays - 5x each and study for test

 

Classroom Rules
Line

  • Raise hand before speaking and getting out of your seat
  •  Keep hands/feet to yourself
  •  No foul language
  •  Follow directions
  •  All work must be completed

 

Reward System
Line

At the end of each period students will receive two stamps if they followed rules for that period.  Breaking the rules will result in an X instead of a stamp.  If a student receives 5 or more X's for the week, they will not get to participate in the reward activity for that week.

 

Activities and Special EventsSwiggle Line

Every week we have a reward activity!  Reward activities consist of a special art projects, popcorn and a movie, playing board games with classmates or playground activities.

 

Supplies for the School Year

All students must have pencils with erasers, a sharpener, notebooks, crayons, a homework folder and tissues. 

A notebook is required for Spelling.
