Classroom News or Announcements

 Interim reports will be mailed out shortly.  Please check your mailboxes ! The students have been working very hard. They are enjoying their new science books.  The book is filled with technology opportunities to enhance skills and develop concepts.

Field Trips Planned

We have a Garfield School Bus reserved for April 27, 2012.

I am researching places that are both educational and cost effective.

Classroom Rules

It is very important that we always try our best and make ourselves proud! All students will receive one homework planner per school year.  It is his/her responsibility to keep track of their planner.  Assignments will be written in their planners daily.  Planners are to be signed by an adult each night and returned to school each day.  It is very important that students follow this procedure.  These skills will prepare  the students for Thomas Jefferson Middle School.

Reward System

If students follow class rules and earn enough points, they participate in a special reward on Fridays.  Rewards consist of  art projects, homework passes, computer time etc.

Activities and Special Events

We will be working on the Smart Board to introduce and enhance skills.  Students love to use technology.  They learn while they are having fun!!
