Classroom News

We are learning our basic multiplication and division facts! Please study them each night.

Later in the school year, we will be studying fractions, decimals,measurement, and geometry.

We will also be using the website StudyIsland.com in class and as a homework assignment. Check it out!

Field Trips Planned

We visited the Fire house on October 11th for Fire Safety Week

Homework Policy

We have homework everyday except Friday. Homework must be returned on time!

Classroom Rules

• Be polite and helpful

• Respect other peoples' property

• Listen quietly while others are speaking

• Return assignments on time

• Obey all School Rules

Reward System

One student per month will be selected as our STUDENT OF THE MONTH!

This student will be honored on our classroom bulletin board!

Extra Curricular

Tutoring is available on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 2:45-3:15 pm. Tutoring is available if your child needs extra help as determined by Mrs. Sundel. Please be prompt when picking up your child at 3:15.

Activities and Special Events

The students can celebrate their birthdays in class. The students can bring in a small treat to share with the class.

Supplies for the School Year

Each student should bring the following school supplies:

1. Pencils (your child should have 2  pencils every day!)

2. Tissues

3. Markers

4. Crayons

We do not have these supplies in the classroom, so it is essential that you bring them from home.
