Home and School

The Home and School Association of Christopher Columbus consists of Faculty and parents of children from our school who volunteer their time to provide the children with certain activities throughout the school year. Upon raising money through fundraisers, the profits are put towards items needed within the school. In the past, our profits provided the children with field day activities, visit from Santa, a book fair and the school sign displayed on the school grounds. We always accept volunteers to help us out at various school functions throughout the school year.

A few of the upcoming events planned for Fall and Winter of 2012 are as follows:

October-December- Family Membership Drive

December 2011- Santa visits and talks with the Kindergarten children
Small gifts are provided

December 2011-Holiday Flower Sale

Flower/Plant Sale
Book Fair
Various Educational Assembly Programs
Field Day

We will need volunteers for some of these planned events. The Home & School Association is looking forward to a very exciting new year with a lot of Parent, Guardian and Teacher involvement.
