The Home and School Association of Christopher Columbus consists of five parents of children from our school who volunteer their time to provide the children with certain activities throughout the school year.  Upon raising money through fundraisers, the profits are put towards items needed within the schools.  In the past, our profits provided the children with field day activities, the sixth grade graduation trip, lunch with Santa, the fifth and sixth grade skating trip, a book fair and the school sign displayed on the school grounds. We always accept volunteers to help us out at various school functions throughout the school year.

September 2005- Family Membership Drive
September 2005- Brochure Sale
December 2006- Evening with Santa/Tricky Tray (Kindergarten through Grade 3)
December 2006-Holiday Gift Shop
December 2006-Holiday Flower Sale

Anticipated events for Winter & Spring 2008 are as follows:

Spring Brochure Sale, Avon Brochure Sale
Flower/Plant Sale
Book Fair
Various Educational Assembly Programs
 

We will need volunteers for some of these planned events.  The Home & School Association is looking forward to a very exciting new year with a lot of Parent, Guardian and Teacher involvement.
