High School Gym Renamed and Renovated as the Frank Dawson Jr. Memorial Gymnasium
We are proud to announce that the high school gym has been officially renamed the Frank Dawson Jr. Memorial Gymnasium in honor of Mr. Dawson’s enduring legacy and contributions to our school community.
In addition to the renaming, the gymnasium has undergone a series of exciting renovations aimed at enhancing the experience for our students, athletes, and visitors. Improvements include:
· New outdoor lettering proudly displaying the new name of the facility.
· Complete interior painting, including the gym walls, ceiling, and entrance.
· Modern drop ceilings to improve lighting and acoustics.
· Upgraded trophy case lighting to better showcase our school’s athletic achievements.
· State-of-the-art motorized basketball hoops for improved functionality and game-day readiness
These updates not only honor the memory of Frank Dawson Jr. but also reflect our ongoing commitment to excellence in our athletic and extracurricular programs. We look forward to welcoming the community into the updated space and celebrating many future achievements in this newly revitalized gymnasium.
